A delicious dry bean that keeps its shape even after long cooking. Gorgeous red-dappled seeds. Legend has it these beans were given as a gift by the Passamaquoddy people to Joseph Clark, the first non-native child born in Lubec, Maine. We don't know if that story is true, but these beautiful beans certainly have their roots among indigenous people of Turtle Island. Bush habit. Approximately 90 days to maturity.
